Location and outside area
This charming villa is situated in a dramatic landscape of Jaen's green Sierra Sur providing a unique and peaceful country retreat. You will certainly enjoy the stunning views on the surrounding landscape from its lovely pool area! The villa gives the impression of being at a beautiful remote place, although it is set in a rural residential area with neighbouring villas on similar beautiful grounds. A grill-restaurant is a convenient walk away. The provincial capital Jaén is only a short drive (15 km) whilst many interesting and antique cities invite you for a visit. Granada with its Alhambra palace is a bit more than an hour drive (116 km). The cities of Ubeda (80 km) and Baeza (68 km) are well kept Andalusian secrets with a rich history and a must if you are here for a holiday. With a lush green environment of oaks and rock roses, this is also a walkers paradise. At a few kilometres from here, you will be impressed by the never ending olive fields providing Jaen's excellent olive oil.
From the living room, doors open to a nice terrace with elegant patio furniture, ideal for your alfresco dinners; a barbecue is provided. The attractive private pool (8m x 5m; approximately 1,8m deep) complete with sun loungers, is situated on a lower level.
On a superior level, there is another totally independent villa with its own private pool that can be rented, ideal for families who holiday together, yet want to preserve their own privacy (see Villa Jaén 002). Both villas are connected by an internal staircase that can be closed from both sides. In the event that both houses are rented separately, privacy is still guaranteed, since each villa has its own independent and completely fenced plot, and thanks to being one on a different level of land from the other, you will enjoy good privacy in any part of the house, garden and pool.
Inside and lay-out
The interior of the villa features quality furniture chosen with excellent taste by its owners. The spacious rooms, all set on the same floor, enjoy abundant natural light and a rustic ambisnce. Traditional elements, like natural stones, old bricks, and wooden beams blend with Andalusian colours and locally made fabrics, all combined with a great eye for detail. The living/dining room has 2 sofas, an open fireplace, TV, and DVD. The spacious kitchen is well equipped with a ceramic hob, oven, microwave, refrigerator/freezer, washing machine, and dishwasher. The three bedrooms are decorated with elegance (1 double bed, 2 twins). There are two complete bathrooms.
